Calling for Paper Proposals! – Workshop “Time and Power in the European Union” with Prof. Dr. Klaus H. Goetz

Attention scholars, calling for paper proposals!

After receiving an exceptionally high volume of phenomenal proposals for our 2024 Joint Sessions, we have 31 confirmed Workshops. We are now seeking papers for this prestigious event.

The Call for Papers for the ECPR Joint Sessions is now open. Prof. Klaus Goetz and Prof. Brigid Laffan welcome submissions for the Workshop “Time and Power in the European Union”.

This workshop explores the relationship between time and political power in Europe, and addresses two basic questions: How does time embedded in institutions, processes, organizations, actor constellations, ideas, policy problems, and public policies shape the distribution of power in the EU? And how is power employed to reshape the temporal features of the EU’s multi-level system?
