Johanna Schmidt-Jevtic completed her Magister studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich in 2001, with a major in Political Science and minors in History and Slavic Studies. From 2001 to 2004, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair for Political Systems and European Integration, headed by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Werner Weidenfeld. She also worked as a project assistant in the Research Group on Germany at the Center for Applied Policy Research (C∙A∙P) and as a lecturer at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute. Following an extended period abroad in Belgrade, Serbia, she returned in 2009 as a research assistant to the Chair for Political Systems and European Integration, led by Prof. Dr. Klaus H. Goetz, at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute for Political Science.

  • European Integration, particularly EU Enlargement and European Parties

She currently supervises the LMU student participants of the international “Allianz Summer Academy“, which was first held in July 2004.
