Within a panel on “Temporal coordination in European policy-making. Governing the short- and long-term under time pressure”, five papers will explore concepts of urgency, synchronization, and long-termism. This will include closer insights on temporal orderings within the Council of the EU presented by Dr. Radu-Mihai Triculescu and Prof. Dr Klaus Goetz, as well empirical measurements of time pressure within speeches by European Commissioners presented by Dr. Leonce Röth.
