Under the title of “Time and Power in the European Union”, Prof. Klaus Goetz and Prof. Brigid Laffan will be convening a Workshop Session focused on the temporal constitution of the EU, aiming to encourage in-depth exchanges around temporal politics and politics in exceptional times. Initial findings of the SYNCPOL project will be discussed by Dr. Radu-Mihai Triculescu (Title: Synchronising out of gridlock: How the Council finally got the ball rolling on the Pact on Migration and Asylum) and Dr. Leonce Röth (Title: Invoking time pressure: the case of EU migration policy).
